This collection was created in response to the movement and shaping qualities of the sea - most were made outside in coastal locations. Material from the landscape was incorporated into the paint: sand from the Vendée coast in France, stone dust from the Portland stone quarries in Dorset. They were exhibited at Rona Painting Gallery in Oxford as part of the Shaped By Water show, alongside sculptures by Clair Chinnery.
